Taking a break from the world of open wheel formula cars, 2008 saw me grinding the wheel of a Spec Miata in a few selected races running SSM and SM cars prepped by RP Performance. Being rentals, I was a little equipment impaired, but the cars were a lot of fun to drive and I was pleased with my results. Brett de Pedro did a terrific job of having the cars ready to go for practice, qualifying and the races. My goal was to finish Top 10 and I was able to do so in both races of the MARRS Double race weekend the end of August.

I look forward to returning to the USKGP at VIR in December, running Spec 125 and Stock Honda classes. This event is always a blast with top competition and an atmosphere that is unequaled in camaraderie. I am also working diligently on college applications, maintaining school work, doing some local volunteer work for an assisted living facility, and working on cars and karts.
